THOMAS LOCH Obituary
THOMAS RUTTER
Age 88, of Avalon, on June 15, 2016. Thomas Rutter Loch, beloved husband of Mary Charlene (Ryan) Loch; loving father of Lynn Wardle (John) of Narragansett, RI and Leslie Bauer of Ohio Twp.; grandfather of Ryan, Kyle and Meghan Wardle, Bret Verzi and Luke Bauer; great-grandfather of Nolan, Birdie, Chloe and Maisie; brother of Robert Loch (Linda) and the late Richard Loch (surviving Barbara). Mr. Loch was a WWII veteran having served in the U.S. Navy, an Assistant Operations Office for 37 years with Mellon Bank retiring in 1985 and a very active member of Greenstone United Methodist Church. Friends received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the McDONALD - LINN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 529 California Ave., Avalon. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Greenstone United Methodist Church, 939 California Ave., Avalon. Memorial contributions are suggested to Greenstone United Methodist Church.

to the Loch family
I knew Tom from working at Mellon. Great guy!
Tom was part of a team that spent some time in Philly back in the 80's when Mellon acquired Girard Bank. Aside from the work, in our off time our group shared some fun time, and Tom and his sense of humor made our time away from home a lot lighter. I feel privileged that I got to know Tom from a business and personal level. He will be in my prayers. Thanks for sharing him with us.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I enjoyed many days and nights at the Loch house. Which left me with happy memories. Peace to everyone

Charlene and family,
I am so sorry to read this today. I enjoyed listening to stories of his children and grandchildren as we worked together at Greenstone. I feel as if I have known him all my life. He was great guy! I wish I could attend his service and offer my sympathy in person.
