Aunt Joan, Sue, Tim, Jeff and Bill:

I would like to say how sorry I am about Uncle Tom's passing!!! I would also like to say something on a personal note. He always made me laugh and I always looked forward to seeing him when we could!!!! And hearing of the stories from dad when they (Uncle Bill, dad, Uncle Tom) were growing up and even now watching them when they would be together. Memmory: When we were little Uncle Tom would BIT US instead of kissing us when he came over and we all would hide and not come out until he left. Uncle Tom used to get a kick out of that and so did we. But it hurt hee hee. I know there are so many more times you all had with Meg, Cindy and Jimmy that I don't even remember. But I do know that I will miss his snicker and how distinguished he was and always will be. I hope that this makes you all laugh and remember all the good times!! If there is anything we can do please let me know!

Marshall Family

I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Marshalls' passing. Although I did not know Tom, I know my brother Mike and Bill have been close friends for many years. Mike has always spoken so highly of your family. Please know that I will have Tom and your family in my prayers. God Bless.

Dear Joan,

My deepest sympathy to you & your family in the loss of your beloved Tom.

It was my privilege to be your pastor for a number of years in Mt. Lebanon. I admired Tom greatly--& of course also his long-time friend, Bob Swindell.

Two super Christian gentlemen !

The world is a better place for men like that.

May the Lord comfort you in your bereavement.

Sympathetically,

Jack Howard

My deepest condolences to the Marshall family. Fine memories of growing up in Mt. Lebanon with the Marshalls(60's) - Tom in particular. Hope that you all find peace in your Dad's eternal rest.

Tom was my greatest mentor and friend. He was most instrumental for my successful career at Ohio Barge Line and Warrior & Gulf. He has and will always remain in my thoughts.

We wish to express our sincere sympathy to the family of Tom Marshall. My family and I were great fans of Mr. Marshall. A towboat named after my father, the M/V C.W. Rushing was one of the towing vessels that towed cement for Universal Atlas Cement for quite a number of years. Mr. Marshall was a very fine man and a good friend to everyone in the towing industry. We share in your sorrow.
