Toneywall, Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh
Died 7 th. March 2010.
T. P.'s wife, Eileen, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sisters and extended family wish to offer their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who helped, supported and sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Our heartfelt gratitude to all those who personally called to our home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards and letters of condolence, gave donations in lieu of flowers; and to all who attended Dad's Removal and Funeral Mass. Thanks to our very kind neighbours, relatives and friends who maintained the vigil with the family during the days of the wake, and who helped in our home in so many ways, especially Anne, Pauline, Christine, Celine and Helen. To all our work colleagues and friends, many who travelled long distances, to offer their sympathy and support, we thank you most sincerely. A special word of thanks to Fr. Fintan McKiernan and Fr. Noel Boylan for their care, friendship and spiritual support to Dad during his illness, and to all those who visited and prayed for him whilst in Hospital. Thank you to Fr. McKiernan, especially, for his prayerful and compassionate presence during Dad's final hours; this was of great comfort and support to all the family. Sincere thanks and appreciation to Fr. Donal Hannon, Fr. Noel McGahan, Fr. Thomas Mannion and Fr. Noel Boylan who concelebrated the beautiful Funeral Mass with Fr. Fintan. We also very much appreciate the prayers, support and presence of Fr. Pat Brady, Fr. John McMahon and Fr. Ambrose in our home, and Fr. Martin O'Reilly, Fr. John Gilhooly and Canon P. J. Corrigan during the Removal. Thanks to Geraldine and Imelda for their beautiful and uplifting music at the Funeral Mass, to the Altar Servers and to all those involved in directing traffic on the evening of the Removal. We wish top say a sincere thank you to all the doctors and nursing staff who cared for Dad throughout his illness: to Dr. Keegan, doctors, nurses and staff of Wards 8 and 9 ,Erne Hospital, Enniskillen, and to the doctors and nurses of Ward 4 E, Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. Thanks to Dr. Sweeney, nurses and staff at Kinawley Health Centre, and to the Doctor- on- Call Service, for all their help. A special word of immense gratitude to the district nurses and to all his carers, whose dedication, support and compassion enabled Dad to be nursed at home in the loving care of his family, during his final illness. Thank you to the Staff and pupils of CBS, Glen Road, Belfast, St. Mary's P. S. Teemore andst Patrick's High School, Keady for their dignified guards of honour at the Funeral Mass. Our deepest appreciation to Tom McNulty, Peter and Bernard Carty, Funeral Directors, for their efficient and caring manner in carrying out the funeral arrangements, and to the gravediggers for their preparation of the grave. Thanks to St. Ninnidh's Parish Hall Committee for the generous use of the Hall and to Pat McCauley and staff who provided welcome refreshments after the Funeral Mass. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. T. P.'s Month's Memory Mass will be celebrated in St. Ninnidh's Church, Derrylin, on Sunday, 11th April, at 11.15 am.
