My mother and father were friends of John and Ada McInnis, Jack's folks, from the 1920's and Jack and I were close from childhood until his death. His courting and marrying Hannah Proctor was a Cinderella love story.. a young marine and a lovely southern girl.I was present at their wedding. I won't ever forget my relationship with Jack and Hannah.

Dear Liz, I am sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a nice man and I have really great memories of us driving around in all of his sports cars! Take care and my thoughts are with you and your family. Joan(schnake) Putlack

I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in our Heavenly Father and in his word the Bible…"Your Word has been my comfort and a refuge when I'm weak,
Expressing feelings dear to me in words I cannot speak.
Please build in me the faith and trust that your Word does impart. And help me always know your love is greater than my heart.”

Jack was a great friend and mentor to me even though I joined the business after he had retired. It was not hard to tell that Jack truly enjoyed his work and had a real passion for dealing with projects and customers. I have heard many stories over the years about some of Jack's great adventures in business and it is easy to say that everyone loved dealing with him and knowing him. He will be greatly missed.

I have know Jack literally since I was born. I had the pleasure of working with Jack at Miner & East for quite a few years. Jack was truly a unique and interesting man to know and work with. What was always remarkable to me about Jack was his customer relations, people loved to work with him. Jack would meet a new customer and all of a sudden he was out to dinner with them, sending them articles, and doing all of their construction work. unreal. People just wanted to be around him. Jack was a great man and I am a better person for having known him.

I have known Jack for over forty years and I have many fond memories. Jack and I worked together for over thirty years and we had great fun being in business with each other. Jack was always interested in other people's lives and was a kind and generous person. He had boundless energy and enthusiasm and was just fun to be with. I could not have asked for a better partner and friend and I will miss him sorely.
