Strange, coincidence moving and just found an" introduction card" that was mailed to my former home that I had saved as I admired his workmanship. Obituary was a delight to read --wonderful life for his family, as I know they miss him, but he's in a safe place. Antonia Evans

We had the privilege of living in Parsons Homestead at 146 Cobbs Bridge Road, New Gloucester for 25 years where Tom and Mary raised their family. It will always hold a special place in our hearts

Rest in peace. I was a real fan of his work from the Sunday morning he answered the phone himself when I called to request a catalog per a New York Times ad that I way. I learned then he had attended Palatine High School for a couple years while he lived in Northbrook. He knew of my late father-in-law who had been the Superintendent of the high school district at the time.
He stood by his work and his work was the best. I recently bought one of his flags and think of him every time I look at it.

Meeting and getting to know Tom was a highlight of my life. I long admired him when I lived in Alaska, and had catalogs mailed to me. I visited the New Gloucester showroom and signed the guestbook sometime in the 1980s. When I relocated to Maine, I couldn't believe my luck when I was hired to do graphic design at Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers. Tom came to visit on my first day, and asked me pointedly why I did the work that I did. Nobody had ever asked me that before, and it made me think. He was a true individual and left behind a stunning legacy. He certainly left his mark on me. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of this extraordinary man. Love to all.

So sorry to hear of Tom´s passing. I know it´s been difficult these last few years but you had a remarkable life together.

I have enjoyed having the opportunity to have known Tom, and although it wasn't for many years, it was evident that Tom enjoyed a full live surrounded by family, friends, and that he touched so many through his craft. On a personal note, Tom made me laugh, and I feel lucky to know this wonderful family. Sending thoughts, prayers, and peace to Mary, and all the Mosers. Lori Curole

Dear Mary, I was saddened to learn of the loss of your wonderful husband. I know the last few years have been difficult for both of you, but that doesn't lessen the trauma for you and your family. Our first house, which we bought in 1975 and still live in, was a large rental unit before it was sold as a single family house. The kitchen, with metal cabinets and linoleum countertops, needed to be replaced. With no money but some woodworking experience, my husband had to build new cabinets himself. But he needed more training and confidence, so he took a woodworking course that Tom offered soon after starting his new business. The kitchen cabinets came out great and, unexpectedly, Tom gave us the plans for his pencil bed, which my husband subsequently built... Years later, I served with Tom on the Maine Maritime Museum Board, where his astute analysis of challenges and focused advice was much valued by staff and his fellow Board members. Mary was always at his side for social events, a clear supporter of our Museum team. Tom was a giant in so many ways and will be missed by many. I hope it is some small comfort to Mary and his family to know that many people are thinking of them at this difficult time...
