Thomas O'Connor Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 28, 2025.
Brewster - Thomas O'Connor, 75, of Brewster, Massachusetts, formerly of Northborough, Massachusetts, passed away on May 18, 2025 after a brief illness. Born on August 13, 1949, in Brighton, MA, Tom lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and deep devotion to his family and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

Tom was the beloved husband of Jean (Webb) O'Connor with whom he just celebrated 50 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Kerry and her husband David Hooper of Nashua, NH; and to Brendan and his wife Jessica (Coulson) of St. Augustine, FL. Thomas cherished his role as a grandfather and found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren-Cameron, Callie, Aislynn and Brayden.

Tom is also remembered by his brother Michael of Sandwich, Massachusetts, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews who were touched by his kindness and humor. Thomas was predeceased by his son Ryan O'Connor and by his parents, Thomas and Dorothy O'Connor.

Tom was a man of quiet passions and enduring spirit, who found deep joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the outdoors, especially the time he spent clamming along the Cape Cod coastline, visits to the dog park and on the golf course. Tom had a deep appreciation for photography. He had an eye for capturing the beauty in everyday moments, and his photographs remain a testament to how he saw the world-with curiosity, reverence, and heart.

Tom will be remembered for his bright smile-a reflection of the warmth he carried within-and for the love he so freely gave to those around him.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date. His family looks forward to gathering with friends and loved ones to honor his memory and share the joy he brought into their lives.

In honor of Tom's love for animals, the family kindly requests that donations be made to SNARR Northeast.

Tom will be deeply missed and forever loved. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
