Thomas B "Tom" OBrien

I went to high school with Tom. He was a great classmate and a wonderful young man. He always had a pleasant way about him. Tom was a leader in our school. Tom always had a very intelligent and funny remarks for any situation.
Our school class was and still is a very close group, for those still around. Our
class lost a great one in Tom. How ever, we called him "Spike".

O'Brien Family,, I am so sorry to hear about Cousin Spike! I had many good and happy thoughts of your family and staying with you all at your home as a kid! My happy thoughts are with you at this hard time.

My heart goes out to Mary and her family.Tom was always enthusiastic, fun, and smart. We served together not only with Delta but in VP-40. We have lost a very good man who will very much missed.

I have fond memories of cousin "Spike" and spending time with all of you when we were kids. Mary and I have kept in touch through Christmas cards and Facebook. I am so sorry for your loss, he was definitely a great man . Sending love and hugs from the Snyder cousins! Kate Heelan

Tom was one of my favorite pilots at Delta. His enthusiasm and joy for life was infectious! Whenever I flew with him, it was a great flight and a wonderful time with a dear friend. He made the world a better place! Prayers for his family and gratitude for the time we all had with him.

Mary, we just heard about Tom's death. What great memories we had together both in the Navy and with Delta. In VP-40, Tom and I were in the same crew and fIew together often and then were hired together at Delta. I always considered us a couple of lucky Irishmen to have been blessed with wonderful families, friends and careers - I just can't call flying a job.
