O my goodness, Brother Tom! I guess you know how appreciative and grateful I am to receive your grace. I wrapped up the Build-a-Bear you sent me so many, many years ago on my birthday in my favorite shirt you wore for special when barbecuing for me. I hug it tightly as I go to sleep. You know, I love you more! Your loving sister, Muska 1.

My baby brother, somehow in his memory, I had become his hero, the one who fought off the bullies when he was young. I don't remember that, just being bullied myself at home. Not too many years ago my brother apologized for saying he wished he could have stood up for me. But he always has. We have always stood up for each other through thick and thin (except for politics!) That's how I remember it, and that's how I will remember him.
My brother's keeper. His sister's keeper.

When our Mom died, we three gathered together at her memorial, and agreed we would be the Three Muskateers [sic]. "Our Father Who Art in Heaven," had died in our early youth, and now with Mom gone up there, too; we who were now orphans,
would stick closer to each other through thick and thin.
Being the oldest, I was Muska I, my sister, Muska 2, and Tom, Muska 3.
Muska 3 has gone to join them and, Heaven is close by. We are holding hand advises the veil.
