Barbara, Katherine, Meghan, Danny - We all share in your grief in Tommy's passing. Clearly, he led a life highlighted by many accomplishments both profesionally and personally. He was such a warm person to be around and we all felt that. I was happy to spend time with Tommy here in Vail on multiple occasions during Spring Break ski trips. We always had a lot to talk about and I always felt comfortable with him. Most recently (almost a year ago), he took my family on a very memorable tour on his beautiful yacht which was in Tampa at the time. It was a real treat for all of us and the kids still talk about "that nice man and woman with the big boat in Florida". We will all miss Tommy greatly, but will cherish the memories that we have.

Peace and Love-

Barbara,Katherine,Megan,Danny,My deepest sympathy to all of you on Toms passing.I have so many memories of Tom going back 55 years to Sommerville N.J.and seeing him in his crib and Aunt Marion feeding him with a bottle. I remember her allowing me to hold him I was so proud of my baby cousin. Then the memories of all the Purcell cousins and getting together in Frackville at Nana and Grand-Dads house, oh the mischief we got into.and the time we were playing hide and seek and Tommy and I hid under Uncle Franks car we both got full of grease and oil. all the good times spent at Aunt Marion and Uncle Frances house in Madison particullary playing polo and touch football on the back lawn.At our Purcell cousin reunion 4 years ago we rehashed some old and fond memories. I will miss him very much but always remember him in my prayers. Tom has left us all something that no thief can steal it is the cherished memories of the time we spent together

Katherine & Meghan and Danny,

I was so sorry to hear about your dad and brother. He was a remarkable man and an awesome father. I remember your family at all the Purcell reunions and always thought what a team you were. The last time I saw Tommy was at my folk's house in Denver and I was again so impressed by him and his passion for his two girls. Please remember how blessed you were to have him as a dad and brother and strive to follow in his example.

My deepest memories of Tommy were during the family gatherings as I was growing up. I did not meet up with Tommy often, usually at large Purcell gatherings. To me he always was the super dynamic relative achieving so much in life. My last meeting with Tommy was around three years ago at my parents home here in Colorado. I remember Tommy totally caught up in the moment about the safety of his daughters returning from a mountain ski trip during a nasty storm. I remember enjoying time with him that evening. He was a remarkable guy. He could have coined the phrase, " To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift ".

Dear Danny,

As my frequent "breakfast buddy", I am addressing this to you, but it is meant for Tom's entire family.

I'll always remember him as the nice looking, sweet gentleman he was when I first met him when he joined what I term the "Kent Law Firm"(I was legal and personal secretary for Fred H. Kent, Sr. for 35 years). My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you for what you've been through during his illness 'cause I've been there and done this, having lost my husband of 42 years in 4 months as a result of three melanoma brain tumors. God bless and love.

I too was deeply saddened to hear of Tom's death. You may not know that Tom was a founding member of The Greater Jacksonville Tax Litigation Association, a select group that did no good but had a great fellowship. I will remember Tom as a guiding light of that group. My prayers will include You and Tom....Willie Hubbard

Dear Barbara, Jonathan, Trey and I were so saddened to hear about Tom's passing from Jerry Roller on Friday. It has been almost exactly one year since we were in Jacksonville and had such a great afternoon visiting with you and Tom in your wonderful restaurant. It was such a memorable afternoon and we were so impressed with both of you and now so saddened to hear of his passing. Tom seemed to be a wonderful person and so smart and successful.
