Thomas M "Tom" Rankin

Rankin, Thomas M, aged 48 of Sacramento, San Diego and Walnut Creek, passed away on June 28, 2009. Tom was born to Bernard and Carol Rankin in Visalia, CA on January 13, 1961. Tom grew up in Walnut Creek, attending Northgate High School, before enrolling at UC San Diego in 1979. After college, Tom worked in the graphic arts and security industries. Tom was loved by his friends, colleagues and family, all of whom miss his wit and humor. Tom is survived by his brother, James, along with countless friends, cousins and other family members. Funeral Services were held on the White Light Yacht on the Pacific Ocean near Newport Beach, CA. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, consider a donation to a local charity.
