DelGiudice - Glenn David 68, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. He lived in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and grew up in Belmore, New York. Glenn was a loving father to three children and devoted son, brother, and a wonderful friend. He leaves three children, Caitlin (Michael) Louden,

Mikaela DelGiudice, and Nick DelGiudice; mother, Sally

DelGiudice; and siblings, Tobin, Thomas, Barbara DelGiudice Del Rio and Ronald. He was devoted to lifelong learning with degrees from Cornell University and did his graduate work at University of Arizona and PhD from the University of Minnesota. Glenn was a Wildlife Research Biologist and senior scientist for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. He was a dedicated and well-respected member of the academic community and served as an adjunct professor in graduate studies at the University of Minnesota. He was passionate about his research, his writing and exploring the natural world. Shortly after his passing, an editorial ran in the Minneapolis Star Tribune referring to Glenn as legendary in the animal research community." He pioneered techniques and technologies in his research, conducting decades of foundational work in deer, moose and wolf ecologies. Glenn shared his knowledge and passion, enthusiastically training both students and professional wildlife biologists. His research results extended well beyond Minnesota in his collaboration with scientists across the world. He is sadly missed by family, colleagues, and his many friends. A celebration of Glenn's life will be held on April 22, 2023, 6 - 9 pm, at Seasons 52, 630 Old Country Road, Garden City, New York. An earlier celebration was held on December 30, 2022, in Forest Lake, Minnesota.
