Thomas Joseph Roache

Thomas Joseph Roache, 94, of Macomb, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025.

Tom spent over four decades in the cutting tools industry, including 30 years running his own successful company. Sales was not just his career-it was his vocation. A born salesman, Tom had a natural gift for connecting with people, and customers truly wanted to do business with him. His passion for the job, skill, and work ethic combined with genuine care made him a trusted and respected figure in his industry.

He was the beloved husband of Jenine for 45 years until her passing in 2024, and previously of Patricia, his first wife of 25 years, who passed in 1976. He is survived by five of his children: Theresa Pinch (Thomas), Michael Roache (Renee), Steven Roache (Alicia), Paul Roache (Margaret), and Matthew Roache (Sherry); and three stepchildren: Terri Hafner (the late John), Mitchell Ray (Marjorie), and Gary Ray (Sandy). He was also the proud father of Christine Roache, who preceded him in death in 2010. He leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who brought joy to his life and whom he loved deeply in return.

Tom was a passionate fan of Detroit sports, especially the Tigers and Lions. He loved fishing, shooting pool, and playing cards, but most of all, he loved being around people. Whether it was time with family, catching up with neighbors, sharing a laugh with friends, or throwing a great party, Tom thrived in the company of others. His warmth, humor, and generous spirit left an imprint on everyone he met.

In keeping with his wishes, Tom was cremated. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

He will be remembered with love, laughter, and deep gratitude for a life very well lived.
