Thomas Rogers Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 27, 2025.
Thomas Harold Rogers passed away on August 15, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Tom lived a life marked by love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family, each and every one them.

Tom pursued his education with determination. He earned an Associate in Engineering from Penn State University, Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and Master of Business Administration from Drexel University.

He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. His service reflected his deep sense of duty and love of country-values that would continue to guide him throughout his life.

At the heart of Tom's world was his family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Cheryl Rogers, whose hand he held through every chapter of their journey together. He was a proud father to Tracy Rogers Nagle, who was his greatest source of pride and entertainment, never missing the opportunity to watch her play tennis and support her love for Disney-often joining in on magical vacations that became treasured family memories. Tom welcomed Tracy's husband, Andrew Nagle, into his family with open arms; never a son-in-law, only a "son". One of his greatest joys was being Will's grandfather with whom he shared countless moments of teasing, playfulness, and all things Star Wars.

He had an eye for art and design, often expressing himself through drawing, painting and an appreciation of architecture. Working in his yard was never a chore; it was Tom's "calling". Above all else, he cherished time spent with those he loved most.

May this memory of Tom bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire love and laughter for generations to come. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Stuards Funeral Directors, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (across from Ellis Preserve).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's honor to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org.
