The example of Tom's generosity, kindness, gentle wisdom, care for the decency of humanity, and perseverance in the face of anythihg lives on in the lives of so many he touched. I am ever grateful for having walked life with him.

Tom is in my thoughts often. His subtle humor and warm friendship will forever be remembered and missed. It seems impossible that a year has gone by since he left us. I miss him.

At this one year anniversary I am present to the amazing courage of Tom. He was steadfast in friendship....a real inspiration.

I will miss Tom very much. He called me every few months (and after a few weeks of phone tag we'd finally connect). He was a dedicated friend, and I will miss having such a caring person in my life and in this world. I hope wherever his spirit is, he has found comfortable shoes, delicious foods, and good books.

Tom was a deeply compassionate and principled man....cherished for his generosity of spirit, sharp wit, willingness to engage in meaningful conversation, courage in the face of multiple challenges, and loyalty. I am so blessed to have shared life and love with him.

I learned a lot from Tom. He had a holistic, non judgmental view of the world. We had good conversations that enriched me. Rest in peace, friend.

Tom was a steady presence at CUUC - White Plains. It meant a lot to me when I first went to that church and he sought me out each week to say hello. I remember him wearing a "no death penalty" button and I was impressed that he was "vocal" about an issue that had fallen out of the news. I'll remember him as a patient, principled, warm person!

A delightful, sweet friend with a good sense of humor. We shared some laughs. I will miss you Tommy.

Tom had a huge heart and was filled with compassion. he made everyone he spoke with feel important. He was passionate about his work and contributed to his congregation and to society in general in abundance. His passing leaves a huge hole that will never be filled.

I will miss Tom a great deal. We had not talked in some time and I am sorry for that - we would speak at length about the political environment - but I couldn't talk about the way things were right now. I am sad to think that he will no longer be here to see this country come out of this darkness on the other side.
