THOMAS ANTHONY of Howell; November 29, 2016; age 86; Thomas leaves his wife of 64 years Geraldine (Novotney) Stachler, his son Tom Stachler and his wife Vanda, his daughter Sharon (Stachler) Behringer and husband Jim Behringer, his son Greg Stachler and his wife Linda, his son Jeff Stachler and his wife Dawn; 6 grandchildren Ryan Behringer and his wife Lauren, Jessica (Stachler) Kreis and her husband Nathan Kreis, Logan Stachler, Cassandra (Stachler ) Kiernan and her husband Sean Kiernan, Brianna Stachler and Tyler Stachler; and 4 great-grandchildren Elyza, Beckett, Nolan and Zoe. Thomas was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio the son of Victor and Roma Stachler. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fowlerville, an avid golfer for over 70 years. He had a long career in both the automotive and R.V industries, later owning dealerships in Waterford and Fowlerville. Thomas was a member of the Fowlerville Rotary, Waterford Eagles and B.P.O.E #810. He graduated from St. Michael High School in 1948. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 5, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at St. Perpetua Catholic Church, Waterford. Thomas will lie in state from 10 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Jack H. Baker celebrant. Rite of Committal with Military Honors to follow at All Saints Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, Waterford.
