THOMAS S. THATCHER

Thomas S. Thatcher of Mundelein Visitation for Thomas S. Thatcher 82 is from 9-11 AM. Saturday at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 W. Maple Ave. (two blocks west of Route 45 on Route 176), Mundelein. Funeral service is at 11 AM. Interment will follow with military honors at Diamond Lake Cemetery, Mundelein. Tom was born September 25, 1930 in Diamond Lake, IL, and died Tuesday March 19, 2013 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. Tom was a veteran of the Korean War and was awarded two Bronze Stars. He was a life member of the VFW and a member of American Legion Post # 867 in Mundelein. Tom owned and operated T. Thatcher and Son Construction Co. in Mundelein for many years. He is survived by his wife DeVona (nee Hoselton) Thatcher, his son Scott Thatcher and his sister Lorraine (Don) Paschke. He was preceded in death by his sister Beda Druce. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The University of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary, 1000 East Maple Ave., Mundelein, IL 60060.
