My deepest sympathies to Tom's family and friends. I found this sad news while searching trying to reconnect . As teenagers, our Grandparents lived a block from each other in Beach Haven West. We had a few summers of great fun clamming and riding through the lagoons on my little boat. We took a spring break trip together. We lost contact after I left for California. Tom was a great guy , solid, always good hearted and funny.

Dear Joyce, Doreen and Family,
We heard about Tom and our hearts have been with all of you throughout these past weeks. We broke out the old photo albums and relived some of our memories of wonderful days with the Umholtz clan. Tommy's smile and the love you all shared make the pages sparkle. Please know how sorry we are for your loss and how happy we are that Tommy was a part of our lives.

Dearest Doreen,
We remember so many happy times in the neighborhood, with Tom leading the fun. Soccer games, woodworking projects, birthday parties and holidays - none would have been the same without him. To Kerri, Ryan, and Brad - your Dad was a great friend to us and we will miss him. Please accept our most sincere condolences. Much love,

To the Umholtz Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. I have known Tom for many years at ATT when he provided sales and customer event support. I especially enjoyed his enthusiasm, his can do attitude and his smile and reassuring words. He impacted so many people at AT&T and we will all miss him deeply.
His courage and positive attitude during his battle with cancer touched me deeply and has set an example for us all.
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

None of those who knew and loved Tom were ready to say goodbye, even though we'd prepared for this day. He fought the good fight and I believe was greeted in heaven with the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant". No, he wasn't a saint, but he was a good man, a great dad, a wonderful husband, and the best brother you could ask for. It is a testament to his life how deeply he will be missed until we see him again. All my love to Doreen, Kerri, Joey, Ryan, Aileen, Brad, Lauren, Gavin, Rosalyn & Gia <3

Doreen and Family,
Please know that I will keep Tommy, and all of you in my prayers.
Tommy was awesome. period.
I've been thinking about all the kick ball games we played in the neighborhood years ago when life was quite a bit slower and simpler.
He used to tease me because I preferred catching snakes and turtles rather than playing baseball and football.
I was all set to pay respects but I think this snow will prevent me from calling. I will be praying for you all.
Love,
