Thomas F. Wallace, 45, of Warren passed away peacefully 2:28 AM Saturday Feb. 12, 2011 in the emergency room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by those who loved him. He was born Oct. 10, 1965 in Warren the son of Ora V. "Judy" (Brown) and the late George F. Wallace. A lifetime area resident, Tom was a 1984 graduate of Warren G, Harding high school where he was a letterman on the football team. Following graduation, Tom attended Kent State University and Youngstown State University and then was employed at Delphi Packard Electric in the Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Departments. Tom was an athlete and a member of the Warren YMCA. He enjoyed golf, bicycling, jogging, and played basketball and racquetball. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland sports teams. He was very involved with the Howland Athletic club for many years where he coached multiple sports. Tom will be deeply missed by his mother Ora of Warren, daughter Logan Wallace, son Drew Guido both of Howland, 3 sisters Tana (Bob) Catron , Debbie (Dan) Wojnarski , Kim (Ted) Kowalczyk all of Howland and a brother Earl Rodney Maines of Warren. He also leaves 5 nieces and nephews; Keith Thomas, Jennifer and Christopher Wojnarski, Justina Maines, and Bridger Kowalczyk. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday Feb. 16, 2011 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6-9PM Tuesday and for 1 hour prior to the service on Wed. Pastor Nelson Wilhelm will officiate. Interment will be in the Pineview Memorial Park. The family suggests material contributions be made to the Howland Athletic Club in Tom's name, c/o Bob Readman 9131 Chalfonte Dr.NE Warren, OH 44484.
