Tiana Kananionapua Phillips

(April 18, 1977 - March 26, 2025)

With deep love and aloha, we announce the passing of Tiana Kananionapua Phillips, who took her final breath on March 26, 2025. Born in Honolulu, Hawai'i, Tiana lived a life rooted in ohana, aloha, and community, always sharing her warmth and wisdom with those around her.

Tiana was known for her vibrant energy, unwavering dedication to family, and the boundless love she extended to not only her own children but to every child in need of an 'ohana. She touched countless lives through her involvement in the community of Waimanalo, Pu'uhonua o Waimanalo, Pop Warner football, Little League baseball, Blanche Pope Elementary School, and Bellows, leaving behind a legacy of aloha, service, and commitment to her community.

She is met in heaven by her beloved father, Joseph Phillips. She is survived by her husband, Kona Kupahu; daughters, Keani Ka'akimaka (Micah) and Elikapeka Kupahu-Phillips (Gabriel); sons, Keawe Phillips, Pilipo Kupahu, Hapaki Kupahu-Phillips (Taylor), and Kimokeo Kupahu-Phillips (Layla); grandchildren, Kukia'i Kupahu-Phillips and Naea Miyaki; mother, June Phillips; siblings, Mahealani, Ka'ili, and Joe Phillips; and countless nephews, nieces, and hanai children, all of whom will continue to honor her memory with love and gratitude.

A final visiting, memorial service and scattering of ashes will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Kaupo, Waimanalo, O'ahu, at 11:30 AM. Following the service, a celebration of life will take place, where we will gather to share stories, music, and aloha in remembrance of our beloved Tiana, accompanied by dinner.

Tiana's spirit will forever remain in our hearts. A hui hou, God is Love!
