Timothy Patrick Swan, age 61, of Cleveland, OH passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2025. Born on July 19, 1964, Tim lived a life with a unique spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was lovingly raised by his devoted mother, Nancy, and stepfather, Cy Sydenstricker, and was also the son of the late William J. Swan, Jr.

Tim was a loving father to his daughter, Kayla Marinak-Swan. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Renea Marinak, with whom he shared an enduring bond of love.

Tim is survived by his brothers Bill (Christina) Swan and Kevin (Debbie Fawcett) Swan; his stepsister Tina Sydenstricker; stepbrother Jimmy Sydenstricker; and his half-siblings Katie Kruzyk, Kacy Swan, Eryn (Cody) Holsinger, Michael (Haruka) Swan, Meghan Swan, Maggie (Frank) Pryor, and Patrick Swan. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Those who knew Tim will remember his selfless spirit, his love of motorcycles, and a larger-than-life personality. Though he often carried himself with toughness and grit, those closest to him knew the truth-beneath it all was one of the kindest hearts, grounded by a steady faith in God.

A Celebration of Tim's Life will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Leroy Community Chapel 12920 Painesville Warren Rd, Painesville, OH 44077.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., with a service beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a meal together. All who knew and loved Tim are invited to join in remembering and honoring him.
