I saw a featured segment on GMA this morning. "Nominate your Favorite Coach" and I searched your name so I could nominate you. Coach Booker, thank you for always being a safe man for me. A trusted human in my life of chaos. Thank you for finding away to honor and celebrate the little girl who so needed positive re enforcement, support and guidance. Thanks for letting me drive the manual all class while you taught the others in the automatic too! "SLOW DOWN, RED!!!" R.I.P. Coach

Coach Booker, what can I say! Every so often you come across my mind and I smile every time! I'll never forget how I used to harass you and you'd return it right back to me every time LOL! You truly were a light in this world and you will be forever missed!

I woke up this morning with Coach Booker on my mind. He was my PE Coach and Driving Instructor at Deltona High. I learned so much from him. Even after graduation I would see him around town, and he was always such a joy to talk to. A big man, with an even bigger heart. He truly loved what he did. The years have passed, but your legacy continues. Now I'm 35 years old with kids of my own, and I still look back to some of the advice he gave me as a teenager. Miss ya, Coach.

Words cannot express how much I will miss my cousin Tim. We grew up together as our moms were the closest of sisters. I will miss him saying "love you" every time he called after I would say hello and his always calling me Deborah Anne. He was a wonderful and loving man and the angels are rejoicing to have him in their fold. I LOVE YOU Tim and plan to see you again in heaven. May God bless Orlinda, Jonathan, Bianca, Nicole and all of us that loved him soooo very much!

Timmy was a wonderful man and loving cousin, (even though he seemed like a big brother), he loved his family and was family oriented. Tim would always tell me "To save your money". My very first trip to Chicago was to visit Tim, he shared the museums, theater, Navey Pier and Leons Bar-B- Q, during my stay and opened my eyes to see that there is a whole new world out there to see and enjoy. I had the pleasure of visiting him in Florida, another first for me, and I fell in love with the sites and sounds that the state of Florida had to offer. My thoughts and prayers are with you family and I thank GOD for the spirit of man, that lives on in our hearts to cherish forever.

I had the opportunity to meet and know Tim since I was 10 years old, when I played for the Hawks little league team and he played for WVA. I cant say that we were ever close but I enjoyed the competition that carried on from little leage through babe ruth and onto High School at Wiley when we werre on the same baseball team. Always wondered where Tim went after High School, I hope he had a good and joyful life evan though it was cut short

Dear Orlinda and Children,
We are so sorry to hear the sad news. Tim was a good person, a good friend, a good husband, and a good father. He loved all of you dearly and cared for the welfare of each of you. Everyone he knew is a better person because of his willingness to help others be the best they could be.

To everyone who took the time to log your thoughts onto this guest book I say whole heartdly thank you my uncle, was like a dad to me and like a grandfather to my children, we were partners in crime when it came to making money and we were like soles, when it came to never meeting a stranger, there are no words that I can say to express the heartbreak that i feel. The only thing that I know is that I helped
take part in fulfilling one of my uncle's long time wishes and that was to get Charles ( Charlie Boy) Sibley down to Florida, well uncle wherever you are I want you to know that I made sure that your mission was completed. I can't think of the Booker siblings, without remembering Jane Booker. She was very much a part of my life, during a time when I was struggling to find my way. Our mutual love of God and for the First Freewill Baptist Church bonded us together as family. I offer condolences to the entire Booker family. While we feel Timmy has left us too soon, we must submit to God's will. Afterall, it is He who haas ordered our steps. According to Psalms 139, He knew us before we were knit together in our mother's womb. Again, I offer heartfelt sympathy.

I worked at Deltona High 9 years ago, and i can not remember seeing Booker sad at least once in the four years that i worked there. Booker was one of my favor coworker that i have had. I remember so many times that he will make me laugh so hard when he played games to Coach Beverly. I am glad that I was able to see him two month ago at Wal-Mart and gave me one of those bear hugs he always gave, we spoke for awhile, and as i left he said love you. We know he is in a better place right now but we will miss him very much. My prayers are with you Mrs. Booker and children. May God bless and give you strenght and comfort in the days, month, and years to come.

Mr. Booker was a true inspiration to me, and everyone he touched. He always had a smile on his face, and truely wanted all of his students to succeed. I was lucky to have spoken to him a few weeks before he left us. The last thing he ever said to me was "Let me know if I can be of any help to you, Son." I will never forget those words. He was a Great man, and planted many seeds duing his short time on Earth. I am Deeply saddened to see him go. My Prayers and Thoughts go out to the Booker family, and to all that feel his loss.

Our condolences to the entire Booker Family on their loss. Our family has had the priviledge of knowing Coach Booker both professionally and personally. Booker always had a hug, smile and a great story. He was someone who, even if you hadn't seen him in a while, was always happy and warm when you would meet up with him. One of our fondest memories was the evening that Booker was baptized, our entire congregation couldn't wait to see him "fit" into the baptismal font to be immersed. Hold on to the great memories of a good man, who gave so much of himself to both his family and students. He will truly be missed.

If Tim can die it is proof again that even the best are mortal. To the Fairrows I give you my thoughts and love. Tonight I thought of Book and sometimes laughed and sometimes cried. A wonderful person and someone I am grateful to have known. Rejoice in the life he led and the influence he had.
