Timothy Brandon Obituary
Following high school, Timothy joined the U.S. Navy, where he served for several years. Upon leaving the military, Timothy successfully ran his own jewelry business. After leaving Grand Rapids, Michigan, he eventually moved to the Bay Area and Torrance, California and Chicago, Illinois. Timothy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, listening to music, reading the Quran, and attending services at his local Masjid.
Timothy was a spirited father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his three children, William, Nicole, and Alesha; six grandchildren, Kamiah, Amaad, Josiah, Fahari, Khalil, and Akil; two great-grandchildren, Phillip and Saniyah; one sister, Janice Brandon-Saunders; and a host of nieces and nephews. He also is survived by five cousins with whom he was raised in Grand Rapids: Belinda Poke, Robert Daniels, Denise Love, Cordelia Daniels, and Maurice Daniels, and preceded in death by Sidney Daniels.
Timothy also is preceded in death by his biological mother, Audrey Patterson, his great-aunt, Roshie Williams ("Mommy"), one sister and brother-in-law, Wilhelmina and Bob Daniels, and two brothers, Mark Brandon and Lenariss Patterson.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 19 at 11 am at The Muslim Center, 1605 Davison Fwy, Detroit, MI 48238. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In honor of his final wishes, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., Timothy will be interred in Grand Rapids, Michigan near his "mommy," Roshie Williams, at Garfield Park Cemetery located at 2222 Kalamazoo Avenue, Grand Rapids, MI 49507.
Perpetual charity or flowers can be sent to The Muslim Center on August 19 between 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

I recall my cousin, Timothy, playing with we cousins in Newark, NJ while at the S. 11th St. home of the late Ann "Auntie" Mitchell.
