Timothy Chairs, Sr. Obituary
Tim was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering commitment to providing for his family, and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need. Tim grew up in Ellicott City and graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School. He devoted his talents to building a successful career as Vice President of ASI. Tim enjoyed playing golf with family and friends, cheering on the Ravens, boating in Ocean City, and attending The Preakness. Mr. Chairs was an active member of the local Lions Club where he supported the community in countless ways. He touched the lives of all that knew him and his generous heart will be his foremost legacy.
Services will be held at Zumbrun Funeral Home 6028 Sykesville Road in Eldersburg on Monday, January 27th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Community 915 Liberty Road in Eldersburg on Tuesday, January 28th at 11:00 am. A Christian burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens 2150 Mount View Road in Marriottsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society in Memory of Tim.

Tim was one of the most kind, generous, and caring men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was not only my boss, but became like a brother to me. He went above and beyond for me & my husband and was truly a blessing to our lives from our All Mighty Savior. I can not express just how much he is going to be missed. Mr.Chairs was always someone I look forward to seeing on my annual Preakness trip. He and his entire family were always so kind and welcoming to me. I remember him giving me encouraging words at a time when I needed to hear them. I think about that interaction at times when I need it. He will be missed. Thoughts are with the Chairs family.
