Timothy Daugherty Obituary
Mr. Daugherty served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War, with the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, 5th Communications Command. He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and a Good Conduct Medal prior to his Honorable Discharge.
He was employed by Fisher Service Company in Columbia, SC. Mr. Daugherty was a big fan of Major League Baseball and supported the Milwaukee Brewers. He always tried to catch a game when visiting in Wisconsin. Mr. Daugherty was an avid Sportsman; enjoyed fishing, hunting and competitive shooting. He was a member of Mid Carolina Rifle Club locally, and his closest friends were fellow shooters. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the U.S. Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and competed in State, Regional and National USPSA events. He was a certified Chief Range Safety Officer with USPSA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CLL Topics, Inc., P.O. Box 168, Sedona, AZ 86339-0168. The CLL Topics website provided Tim with patient centered support and straightforward information about his disease. Donations are used to support CLL research.
Surviving is his wife, Linda Chico of the home; daughter, Katie Daugherty-Landers (David) of Waupaca, WI; son, Charles Daugherty (Heather Johnson) of Pewaukee, WI; grandchildren, Bradley, Yasmine, Arianna, Sheena, Jordan and Andrew; sister, Madeleine (Pat) Kacizak of St. Louis, MO; brother, Michael (Mick) Daugherty of St. Louis, MO. Mr. Daugherty was preceded in death by three brothers, James, William and Daniel Daugherty.

Tim came in this world with a bang, seeing he was born on the 4th of July and he was one heck of a wonderful cousin, somebody you could be very proud of. I know my wonderful memories of Tim will make his passing easier for me and I wish the same for all of you. Remember, we now have another angel up there to watch out for us. Thank you Linda for all you've done.

I am going to miss Uncle Tim and his crazy sense of humor. I have the rubber chicken he handed down to me, sitting on top of my computer monitor in his honor. He always knew what to say to make me laugh. I am going to miss him so much.

Linda and family - Cathy and I extend our sympathy to you. Tim was a dear cousin. We shared good times when he lived in Wisconsin. We were always happy to see him when he returned for periodic visits. We will always fondly remember the great fun we shared when organizing our Schuettler family picnics in the 1980's. We will miss Tim.
