Published by Legacy Remembers from Apr. 4 to Apr. 6, 2009.
Tim was born on September 17, 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and passed away at the age of 53 at St. Francis Hospital March 24, 2009, Tulsa, OK with his wife Susan and sons at his bedside. Formerly a lifelong resident of Muskogee, OK the family moved to Broken Arrow, OK four years ago. Tim was diagnosed with cancer Feb. 14, 2006. Even though he endured many surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and all the side effects, Tim carried on with extreme courage and always had a smile on his face. He always had a positive attitude towards anyone he crossed paths with. In fact, he often would jokingly say, "IT AIN'T NOTHING BUT A THING." To know Tim was to love him. He had charm, charisma, a sense of humor and could always make you laugh even when you didn't feel like it. Tim worked many different jobs throughout his life but his greatest passion was when he worked as a horse trainer. Tim loved horses and horses loved him. His mom always called him the horse whisperer. In Tim's spare time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved NASCAR, football and reading. Tim was also a Momma's boy, his mother's first born child. He could never let one day go by without seeing her or talking to her on the phone 4 or 5 times a day. He loved her dearly and constantly worried about her. His favorite thing to say to his mother was "WHAT'S CRACKIN MOMZIE?" Parakletos means "One called alongside to help." In ending I, his wife, wish to express my love for Tim in the following: Tim from the 1st time we met at the age of 13 yrs. I knew you were the one for me. Even through some very difficult times you knew you could always turn to me and I was there for you for the past 40 years. We have enjoyed some of the best years of our lives the past 6 years. I can also say that I have witnessed a miracle when you turned your life over to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and your FATHER Jehovah GOD. I have watched you totally engulf yourself in reading the bible silently and out loud. I have heard you pray and worship your Heavenly Father for hours upon hours everyday for the last 5 years. Your greatest desire was to bring me (your wife), your children, grandchildren, family, friends, and strangers to our Father and Creator of all Life. I am so proud of you. Even though I can't stand the thought of living without you, you have given me very precious gifts; our three sons and grandchildren. Most of all I draw strength and comfort in knowing that you will never die again. There is nothing that can ever break our bond and love for one another, even death. I promise to carry on with your testimony of your life and how you found faith and hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ and the peace you had knowing that your heavenly father would never leave or desert you. You have truly inspired me to renew my faith and I respect you so much for that. Soon, darling we will be back in each others arms for eternity. Love, Susan
