Timothy J. Hall

Timothy J. Hall passed away on March 5, 2025 after a 2-1/2 year battle with cancer.

Born on March 25, 1943, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Tim led a life marked by dedication and perseverance. After serving in the Marine Corp, he moved his family to Rockford, Illinois, where he built a career at Sundstrand Aviation, dedicating 24 years to the company. In addition to his professional work, he also spent time working and playing at Stateline Auto Parts.

When Tim was laid off from Sundstrand, he embraced the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream. He purchased Cedar Inn Resort near Bloomer, Wisconsin, where he spent 15 years creating a welcoming retreat for visitors and loved ones alike. Never one to stop dreaming, Tim later acquired "The Property" in Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin - a place that became a cherished space of both work and joy for his children and grandchildren. His final move was to Janesville to be closer to family.

Tim is survived by his wife, Patricia, children, Christina (Michael) Graceffa, Deborah (Phil) Sandwick, and Thomas (Erin) Hall. He is also lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Rick, and brothers, Robert, Thomas, and Dan Hall.

A Celebration of Tim's life will be held Saturday, May 3rd, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at the American Lombardi Society, 209 Olive St., Rockford, IL 61107

Tim's legacy lives on through the memories shared with family and friends. May these memories bring comfort to those who knew him.
