Timothy Wayne Long

Timothy Wayne Long, of Memphis, TN, a beloved member of the community, passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 67. He was born on September 16, 1956, in Jackson, Tennessee, to his parents, James and Dorothy Long. Timothy was preceded in death by his father, James Long, and his mother, Dorothy Long.

Timothy is survived by his loving son, Corey Long, his devoted significant other, Ann Lowe, and his cherished grandchild, Mason Timothy Long.

Throughout his life, Timothy made a significant impact on those around him. He served on the board of the Mid South Adoption Agency, where his dedication to helping families touched many lives. Timothy also had a successful career, working for companies like GE, Cartwright & Bean, and dedicating over 20 years of service to Anixter. He was not only a dedicated professional but also a mentor, offering guidance and support to many.

Timothy had a passion for life that was evident in his hobbies and interests. He had a deep love for nature and enjoyed watching the deer from his back porch after retirement. He found joy in the art of ballroom dancing, often sharing the dance floor with his partner, Ann. Golf was another of his great passions, and he spent many happy hours on the golf course.

Timothy Wayne Long will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication to family and community, and his zest for life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed.
