Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 8, 2019.
Turner- Timothy H. Nason, also known as "Chicka" or "Mr. Perfect" died unexpectedly Friday January 4, 2019 at his camp in Waldoboro. He was born in Lewiston on March 15, 1964, son of the late Harold T. Nason and Geraldine (Mosher) Mahoney. He was educated in New Hampshire and finished his high school years in Auburn. He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1982.He cherished many great friendships, especially with the classmates who often referred to themselves as the Part Crew of 82'. Tim met and lived with his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Debora A. Berry whom he cherished and adored for 38 loving years. You could often hear Debora refer to Tim as "my blue eyes". Tim acknowledged Debora's family as his own often calling Connie Berry by "Mom" and Ronnie Berry by "Dad". Tim was blessed with six nieces, Aliyha, Ariel, Alexis, and Jordan Gregory, Lindsey Bryant, Calyssa Berry; along with 2 great-nephews, Chase Wade and Levi Roland Berry. Tim was employed with Marden's Surplus and Salvage, Inc. for 35 plus years. Marden's sent Tim to earn his CDL Class 1 Driver's License and he drove long haul for many years. Tim was promoted to Distribution Manager, Safety Coordinator and was responsible to oversee corporate truck drivers. Tim was dedicated and loyal to the Marden's family and spoke highly of Ham, Louise, Andrew, and the rest of the family, along with management staff and human resource department and along all the employees and associates that he worked alongside of. Tim had a warm and infectious smile and a gentle personality. He was well liked, respected and adored by everyone who met him. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved the fresh air while riding his motorcycle, his Mustang convertible, his snowmobile, and he enjoyed the "salt life" at his camp at the coast. Tim was a workaholic and took great pride in helping others. Tim loved having projects and kept extremely busy. He built three homes for himself and Debra. The first home, often he referred to as his "mini mansion", in Minot. Then a second home in Bowerbank, Maine and his latest home in Waldoboro. Tim was a perfectionist and everyone who saw his work knew it. Tim loved riding his Harley Davidson and his rides with his brothers and their wives of the EWNAO CLUB. Tim loved boating, snowmobiling and keeping busy. Tim loved the ocean and his dream was to move to Waldoboro and live on the coast. If you visited Tim at his coastal property, he would always find a way to surprise you with a "lobster feed" on him. Tim also loved traveling and travelled extensively to the Carribean, Europe, Puerto Rico and the United States. Tim loved racing and earned the nickname "Racin Nason". He drag raced cars and motorcycles at Oxford Plains Speedway for many years. Tim enjoyed Nascar races and watching the Patriots. Tim embraced and cherished his friendship with George Hartford, Ryan Herrick, Mark Sawyer, and all the members of the EWNAO, with special regards to the club prez, Joey Legee and "the party crew of 82", which included several great and loyal friends that he maintained close friendships with for the past 37 years.
