Timothy Wayne Ruddell

Wayne Ruddell, "TWR", 57, of Wilmington, NC, went to be with his loving daughter on October 4, 2009. He was born on August 8, 1952, in Wilmington, NC, the son of Johnnie and Bobbie Jo Ruddell. Wayne was a loyal employee of Occidental Chemical Co. for thirty-seven years. He was an avid University of North Carolina Tar Heel fan and had a lifelong love of the water. Remembered are his daughter, Sarah Faye Ruddell, and his brother, Charlie Ruddell, both of whom preceded him in death. Surviving is wife, Donna Ruddell who was the love of his life; four daughters, Heather Ruddell, Lisa Benincasa, Angie Benincasa, and Mindy Benincasa; two grandsons, Chip Swinson and Cayne Benincasa; two sisters, Terry Ruddell Joiner and Pam Ruddell Barbee; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends to many to name. And as we all know he was one of a kind. He will be truly missed and remembered by family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, Wilmington. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.
