Timothy Sweeney Obituary
Timothy John Sweeney, 46, of Suffolk County, Long Island, passed away suddenly on November 14, 2013. He was born on June 2, 1967. Tim was the devoted father of Timothy Jay (8) and Lucas Eugene (5), beloved husband of Dr. Kim L. Lehnert, cherished son of Thomas M. and Mary E. and loving brother of Mary Beth (Joe Coppola), Thomas M. (Malgosia Madajewicz), Patrick J. and Robert G. Tim had two nephews, one niece, many, many cousins, aunts and uncles, lots of family and friends, all who loved him very much. He had a huge heart and he will be missed.

Hard to fathom a year has passed, Tim. Miss you so much and with each passing day, it does not lessen the pain of a broken heart, such a huge gap left behind. Love you so much; always such a wonderful brother & caring friend. Lots of fun & life to be lived! Keep watch over Timmy Jay & Lucas; guide them with all of your knowledge & wisdom. Let your life's light shine bright, always... I could use some of your Reiki treatments...you were so talented & so great at whatever you set your mind to. Tim (still find it hard to not say "Timmy") was so kind and funny. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. We were not just cousins, but also great friends. We grew up together and had all sorts of adventures! This is what I will remember most. My God bless Tim and his family, and may He provide comfort.

We are so very sad to hear of Tim's untimely passing. He was an enormously talented man with a big and inclusive heart. He was interested in so many things and could do almost anything...build anything, fix anything. His sons have an amazing spirit watching over them now.. Timmy was always so kind, funny and caring. He found his way into everyone's heart. When visiting Long Island and staying with MaryBeth my 3 children came to know him in a very special loving way . He was so wonderful and great with all of them ... It was a family visit we will always treasure . Our condolences to all the Sweeneys.
