We both lived in the 200 block of N. Port Street. That is where I met him when I moved there. We didn't get along as well as wanted to at first. He always wanted to fight me even though I was was 3 years older, he was a tough bully-type. But for some reason there was something about him I liked and I didn't want to fight him, I wanted to be friends. Truth be told, we were friends whenever off off our street. We talked and played in the park including swimmng in the pool.
My favorite memories of Timmy is walking through Patterson Park to school (he was 2 grades below me) but went to Hampstead together. We had so much fun in the park and always felt protected with my friend the tough guy bully! The last time I saw him he was about early 20's driving a cab. A shame didn't remain friends last 40 years. He and his brother Billy were true fishermen which is one of my favorite sports and past times. Would love to go fishing with Billy before it's too late. Miss you Timmy, you little bully!
