Tina Pearl Whitney

Tina Pearl Whitney (née Stalnaker), age 93, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in Loveland, Ohio. Born on January 18, 1932, in Wallback, West Virginia, Tina lived a life rooted in faith, family, and compassion.

Tina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey A. K. Whitney, Jr., who passed away in 2018. Together they shared a deep devotion to one another and to their shared faith. She is survived by her daughters, Kim Whitney Parker (Tracy Parker) and Lisa Whitney Davies; her grandchildren, Austin Kay Parker, Whitney Davies Moss (Christopher Moss), and Lauren Davies Jester (Josh Jester); as well as four cherished great-grandchildren.

A woman of unwavering faith, Tina's love for Jesus Christ was the guiding light of her life. She expressed this devotion not only through regular worship at Kenwood Baptist Church alongside Harvey but also through everyday acts of kindness. Whether offering a prayer for someone in need or sharing words of encouragement with a stranger in a checkout line, Tina lived out her favorite Bible verse from Ephesians 4:32: "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."

Tina's second great passion was her family. She delighted in preparing meals that brought everyone together-roasted lamb during the holidays, lemon meringue pie for special occasions, or fulfilling a loved one's request with joy and care. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and love where memories were made and traditions were passed down.

Tina Pearl Whitney leaves behind a legacy of faithfulness and love that will continue to inspire all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
