Toby Danzberger Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 10, 2025.
It is with unspeakable sadness that we announce the passing of Toby Lee Danzberger at the young age of 52 years.

Toby will be forever loved, appreciated, and remembered by best friend of thirty-three years, Kathy Danzberger; stepchildren: Gary Verno Jr, Chris Verno, and Jackie Fisher (Jason); grandchildren: Austin Verno, McKenna Verno, Dilynn Fisher, and Alyssa Fisher; brothers, Robert Danzberger (Lisa) and Troy Danzberger: stepbrother, Gary Henry (Cindy) and stepsister-in-law; Louise Henry; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents; Robert and Meriam Danzberger Sr; stepbrother; Michael Henry; and stepsister Linda Grooms.

Toby A.K.A "Tobster;" a nickname that matched his boyish and independent personality, contagious smile and infectious laughter that could have you holding your stomach and drying your eyes was born July 10th, 1972, in Chambersburg, PA. After graduating high school, he went on to work for Martin's Famous Potato Rolls where he eventually accepted a promotion that moved him and Kathy to Valdosta, GA. At the time of his death, he was the production manager at Bimbo Bakery in Valdosta.

A need for speed and an adrenaline rush was evident by Toby's love for motorcycles, ATV's, mud bogging, and target shooting with Tannerite to "blow sh!t up." He also had a passion for collecting guns and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan that loved tailgating and attending games. He found joy at his secluded home in Pinetta, FL that he named "Tobster's Compound" where he enjoyed the companionship of his beloved dogs, cooking, bonfires, and listening to music. His home is where he found serenity and ultimately passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 10, 2025.

Join us as we celebrate the life of Toby Lee Danzberger's life on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 5:30 pm at Norlo Park Community Center, 3050 Lincoln Way E, Fayetteville PA 17222. A catered reception will follow at the same location. In honor of his life and one of his greatest passions, we invite you to wear your Steelers jersey or black and yellow.
