Toby Spinks

Funeral services for Toby Lynn Spinks, 41, of Etoile were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 in the Macedonia Baptist Church in Etoile with Brother Skipper Eberlan officiating. Interment followed in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile. Mr. Spinks was born November 22, 1970 in San Augustine County to Joyce (McCray) and Roy Edwin Spinks and died August 10, 2012 at his residence after attaining the age of 41 years, 8 months, and 19 days. Mr. Spinks loved fishing, sports, coaching baseball and softball, cooking, but most of all he enjoyed his family. He was a life long resident of Etoile and a member of the Woden Baptist Church. He was survived by his wife of 21 years, Amber Spinks of Etoile; son and fiancé, Taylor Jordon Spinks and Alannah Holloway; daughter and fiancé, Shelby Lynn Spinks and Matthieu Harvin, all of Nacogdoches; granddaughter, Lilly Marie Harvin; father, Roy Spinks of Louisiana; mother, Joyce Pigg of Apple Springs; sister, Cindy Chambers of Etoile; and a number of nieces and nephews; other relatives; and a host of friends. Mr. Spinks was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martin and Marie Lacy and brother, Kenny Spinks. Casketbearers were Wayne Wallace, Michael McCauley, Cody Pinkston, Darin Reither, Jeff Willard, and Ronald Spinks. Honorary casketbearers will be Daniel and Micha Spinks.
