Dear Frohwirth Family,
I was shocked to read of Todd's death. I taught at St. Agnes where your mom was secretary. She was so proud of Todd being a major league pitcher. Often during the baseball season I would walk in the office and see her wearing an Orioles baseball cap. That was the sign telling the staff Todd was pitching that day. She would always talk about his pitching career. I've been gone from St. Agnes for many years so I was also shocked to read in his notice that your mom had died. My sympathies on her death and may God be with you as you grieve Todd's passing.

I played College Ball with Todd at Waukesha Tech. He was a heck of a pitcher. Had like 150 strike outs because nobody liked facing that submarine curve. I even got hit a few times in BP when it didn't quite break enough, but I crowded the plate and he was probably trying to nicely teach his teammate a lesson. We all knew he had the stuff to make the big leagues. He was a great guy to be around as well. Always smiling. Heck he could hit pretty good too. Had a couple of homers.
RIP Todd - I'll catch you on the other side. I'll have 2B covered for ya!

It was an amazing time of our lives to watch history in the making when Todd took the mound at Frame Park for the Waukesha Nationals. And to know that this hard-working, dedicated and impressive young man was being scouted and had what it takes to play pro ball was just over-the-top! I am deeply honored to have been apart of his life at this time and to have known him and his incredible wife Jacque. Todd will be missed by many but remembered always with fondness. I am so sorry for your loss Jacque and family.

Todd was one of the most memorable players I ever had on my roster for the 25 years I coached college baseball. He always displayed the tenacity and heart of a true warrior when he took the mound at Northwest Missouri State University. He was a "winner" and possessed the heart and soul of a champion.
He a true leader for the Bearcat Baseball Program and was selected to be a member of our M-Club Hall of Fame in 2005. I have so many fond and also so funny memories of my ace. He was truly a remarkable athlete, teammate, and friend to multitudes. Todd will always be a player, and person, I will never forget.
Diana and I send our deepest condolences to Jacque, Jay, and the entire Frohwirth family. As I have retired from the battles on the field, and as I have grown in my walk with Him, I have found this promise to be steadfast, and I leave this for others to know: "And He was before all things, and in Him all things hold together" (Col 1:17). He will hold each of you in the days ahead. God bless you and may you sense God's comfort, peace and grace.

God of gave me guidance through coach Fro, I mimic my game and coaching throughout my life because of the positive influence he had on me and smile when kids get his humor and an explainable positive influence he imparted on me with his belief I could attain the impossible, to play pro ball and hopefully make him proud. He brought Mike Mussina to my first practice...I can never repay the kindness and hope he showed me...New International Version
Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise." Thank you Coach

Todd was a good friend, missed those days playing baseball at Enderis Park and the Friday night basketball at M.G.C., and catching for him during the winter months before basketball. Great sense of humor, took it as well as gave it out!! Great times seeing him pitch for the Orioles, sitting by the bullpen giving him grief. So saddened by the news. All the best to his family and friends, there are a lot of friends.

Fro was a great force of positive energy. Shaggy hair and giving play-by-play on the court. I never saw or spoke with Todd after driving out to Waukesha Tech with his brother Scott to watch him play college bball. That was a long time ago but I remember it well. The next time I saw Todd I was visiting Milwaukee/Chicago and there he was on the mound on national TV pitching in the late innings. My condolences. My memories of Todd as a young person are vivid and full of light.
