Todd Henry Hansen

Todd Henry Hansen, 65, passed away June 3, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

Born March 18, 1960 to George and Shirley Hansen, he spent his early years in Western New York before embarking on a life journey that would take him from Buffalo to NYC and ultimately to Orlando, where he called home.

Todd went to the University of New York at Buffalo earning a BA degree and his early professional life was marked by his creativity with roles in marketing and broadcasting. Later in life Todd discovered another calling, nursing and with his nursing degree, went on to have a long career as a psychiatric nurse at Advent Health Orlando.

A dedicated practitioner of Wicca, Todd found spiritual fulfillment through its teachings and community. He was also a proud and active supporter of the LGBTQ+ community throughout his life.

Todd's passions also included being an avid Star Trek fan and a supporter of the arts. Todd could often be found at Dr. Philips Center for the Performing Arts, House of Blues and many of the activities the Orlando area offered.

He is survived by his many loved ones of his chosen family, his dear cousins Diane Engstrom (Rick) and Rachel Worley and by two of his many beloved cats that shared his home throughout the years; all standing by him throughout his life with unwavering support. Todd was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service celebrating Todd's life will be held in August 2025 in Orlando, Florida. May his memory continue to inspire kindness, courage, and authenticity in all who truly knew him.
