Todd Miano Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 5, 2016.
Todd A. Miano, 34, passed away suddenly December 28, 2015 in Naples, Florida. He was born on January 8, 1981 in Farmington, Connecticut to Paul and Renate (Slobodzian) Miano. He was raised in Connecticut until his sophomore year in high school when the family relocated to Naples. He attended St. John Neumann and Gulf Coast High School. After graduation, Todd moved back to Connecticut and attended Technical school for HVAC. Todd lit up a room with his infectious smile and his humor. He had a golden heart and there was no person whoever met him that did not like him immediately. He could be counted on to listen to your problems, lend a shoulder to cry on and to help you with anything you needed done. Todd loved having a good time and was always the person who would be the one to participate in any activity. He would be the one wearing the funniest hats or the most colorful glasses. Todd was a Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. His favorite sport to watch or go to was Nascar races to root for Matt Kenseth. Todd also loved to go camping, fishing and hunting with his family. In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by his children, Tyler and Aubree Miano; brother, Cliff Miano; sister-in-law, Katie Miano; nephew, CJ Miano; grandmother, Mary Miano; aunts and uncles, Maureen and Nick Miano, Annemarie and Mel Masse, Mary and Joe Fiumara, Leigh and Mark Slobodzian; numerous cousins, their spouses and children. He is also survived by his ex-spouses, Jessica Larche Young and Jill Kozieradzki Miano. Todd was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Nick Miano; his maternal grandparents, Augusta LaBianca and Emil Slobodzian; aunt and uncle, Christine and Robert Haddock. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10 am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5130 Rattlesnake Hammock Road, Naples, FL In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of his children.
