Toni Johnson Salcedo Obituary

Kansas City, Kansas - Toni Ann Johnson Salcedo, 70, passed peacefully in her home on March 29, 2023, with her family by her side.
Toni was born December 25, 1952 in her childhood home to Albert and Leona Johnson. Her siblings included Barbra Johnson, Jackie Shotts (Johnson) and Allen Johnson.
Toni wed Jesse Salcedo on November 20, 1997 and shared 25 years of marriage. The union joined their children Jessie May Miller, Cassie Jo Fish (Miller), Jesse Salcedo Jr., Antonio Salcedo and Michael Salcedo.
Toni retired from AT&T after 35 years of service. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, nature and the Outdoors. She loved taking in the views of her family's lake house and worked hard to maintain it.
She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Leona Johnson and her sister Barbra Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren (15), and greatgrandchildren (5).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 with visitation from 10am-11am and service from 11am-12pm at Highland Park Funeral home.
There will be a celebration of life immediately following services at Sylvester Powell Jr. Community Center 6200 Martway St. Mission, KS 66202 Conference Room E.

I am so sorry for your loss. Did not see that Toni passed away until today. Would have presented my condolences in person had I known.

Love u Toni now u will be with all those we both loved remember me & since u were my Niece,fiend,sholder to cry on & of course helping share our family history, I still have the crystal ash tray that your uncle Jerry keep on our coffee table when we lived across the street from my Brother Albert & his wife, the one the little 5 year old girl visited everyday for her candy, & if Uncle Jerry was asleep (that is what she thought he loved to watch) her come in get a handful of candy & run out, memories are wonderful to have & I have lots of good memories of u Toni & always will, remember what feathers always said as long as one person remembers u , u will never die LOVE
