Tony Gervasi Obituary
Tony was born and raised in Dorchester, to the late Joseph and Mary (Loretta) Gervasi. He was one of eight siblings to a vivacious family, that he loved greatly. Tony is survived by his loving wife "Sesa" Mary (Shanley) Gervasi and his daughter, Mary Gervasi of Weymouth. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy in his family through his siblings, Betty Shea, Ellen Gervasi, Joey Gervasi, Theresa Breslin, the late Gina Johnson, Lucia Vanasse, and Dominic Gervasi. Tony took joy and pride in watching his nieces and nephews grow up, Kate and the late James Tommy, Paul Hugh, Michael Joseph, Billy, Tony, Joe G, Tommy, Cassidy, Genevieve, John Ross, Gina, Lisa, Richard, Santina, Nicholas, Dominic, Joseph, Vincent, and Theresa.
Tony's favorite memories consisted of family cookouts, camping trips, and spending time at West Beach with his cousins Barbie, Sheila, and Steve O'Brien of Beverly. He enjoyed reminiscing on his trips to visit relatives in Newfoundland and Sicily growing up. Tony was always enthusiastic about good food and family traditions.
Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass and celebration of life on Monday, February 5, 2024, at Saint Francis Xavier Parish in South Weymouth at 10 AM.

I am heartbroken to just learn of Tony's passing. He'd been on my mind and drove down his road in Weymouth last week, hoping I might spot him on a beautiful day. Then FB search leads me here. How sad. Tony was the best, such an all around great guy. He worked for my Dad ( Vern) for years and he had a lot of respect for Tony. I send the most sincerest condolences to Sesa, Mary and the entire Gervasi family. God seems to always take the good ones.

Sesa and Mary I'm truly sorry to hear I want to send my dearest condolences and love to you and all the family. I can remember as young kid Tony being so genuine and funny always a great guy to me. He is a true Legend
