Tony Dale McCullough, age 77, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his closest friends and family on the afternoon of September 3rd, 2025.



Tony was born on August 7th, 1948, in Columbus, Mississippi where he later relocated to Kennewick, Washington in the late 70s. He grew up with a love for NASCAR, racing, and working on hot rods. Tony worked out at Hanford for over 30 years, where he met some of his best friends.



Tony had a deep passion for hot rods, muscle cars, and took great pride in building award winning collector Chevrolets. He loved quality time spent at car shows, the thrill of drag racing, excitement of going fast, and spent countless hours watching NASCAR and cheering on Alabama college football - ROLL TIDE! Beyond his love for cars and racing, Tony's greatest joy was his friends and family. Though a true firecracker in spirit, those who knew him best, also knew the way he would do anything for the people he loved and admired.



Tony was survived by his wife of 16 years, Shirley McCullough; the joy of his life and only child, Tony (Lyndsay) McCullough II; his grandchildren, Hailey (Noah) Schneider and Dallas Stephens; his sister, Anne (Larry) Stubben; and his nephew, John (Danielle) Prescott. He was preceded in death by his parents and Kathie Simmons-McCullough.



A celebration of life service will be held at South Hills Church

3700 W 27th Avenue in Kennewick on Friday, September 26th at 10:30 AM.



Tony will be remembered for his humor and generous spirit, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
