Tori Aletheia Obituary
Des Moines - Tori Aletheia, 32, passed away on December 23, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 29 at the First Unitarian Church of Des Moines. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Tori grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Des Moines East in 2004. After she graduated she attended Iowa State University where she got a major in Psychology and a minor in Diet and Exercise.
Tori then joined the Iowa National Guard where her job was a Cryptologic Linguist. In 2013 she joined the Des Moines Police Force where she rose to a Senior Police Officer where she enjoyed busting OWI's.
In 2009 Tori married her high school sweetheart Zach. They resided in Des Moines with their cat Tang.
Tori is survived by her husband, Zach; father, Bruce Crum; grandmothers, Shirley (Robert) Conklin and Barbara Crum; mother-in-law, Irma Lombardo; sisters-in-law, Lora Morton and Georgia Barker; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Crum and grandfather, Warren Crum.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name at Serve Credit Union, 423 E. Court Ave., Des Moines, Iowa 50319. Online condolences may be expressed at www.caldwellparrish.com.
