Tracey Burke Obituary
SAN DIEGO, CA: Tracey Ann Burke, 42, of San Diego, CA and formerly of Fremont, OH passed away at Scripps Mercy Hospital on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born on May 14, 1974 in Fremont, the daughter of Lonnie Joseph & Barbara Ann (Dickey) Burke. She was a 1992 graduate of Fremont Ross High School and received her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati in 1997.
Tracey worked at Rudy's and Dots as a teenager. She was employed as the Assistant Accounting Manager for South Bay Sandblasting in San Diego, CA.
Tracey had a contagious laugh and a zest for life like no other. She loved San Diego. She especially loved going to the beach to visit Mother O (ocean), and watching sunsets. She was also an avid football fan.
Tracey is survived by her father, Lonnie J. Burke, Fremont, OH; siblings, Christy S. (Steve) Wyatt, Aurora, CO; Jason A. Burke, San Diego, CA; Julie J. (Joe) Barriere, Kansas City, MO; one niece, three nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara A. Burke, and her grandparents, Raymond & Virginia Dickey and Terrance & Alice Burke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, from 1 - 5 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH. Memorial Services will begin at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the family c/o Lonnie Burke.

Missing my Red! Always in my prayers. So sad to have you gone but I pray we are able to see each other again in heaven defenitely not here. Traceys heart was her ticket. She had a very good heart! I misss her more than ever!

Please give me a call... I'm sorry I have questions. God bless you and I'm sorry that Tracy has passed. Again I am a friend of hers whom shared many great times with her and so much laughter. Correction.... I must make correction... how could I forgotten it was Beetlejuice her cats name was beetle juice! Silly me. If any family reads this... with all due respect I send my condolences. Hi I'm heartbroken to have came across Tracey's passing just now. I'm an old friend of Tracy's, my name is Mariya and I was fortunate enough to have shared several years of laughter with Tracey! Her nickname was Red I adored her and i have unforgettable memories of moments that we shared. She always welcomed me with open arms and was there for me when I most needed her throughout a rough time when going through a divorce. She was definitely a role model and I adored her humorous sarcastic personality. She always shared stories about her siblings, I believe I may have met Jason at one point. But her place on Riley st. Was always a home for me. And we were able to laugh!! We lived talking to her fat cat, I want to say his name was Garfield? She loved her fat orange cat. Anyway I'm saddened over this news that I just so happened to have stumbled over. Prayers to my dear friend. She surely will be missed but always remembered. Sorry for your loss

Tracey and my daughter, Jennifer Birich, had their wisdom teeth out together. They were like two chipmonks in the bed together. I loved Tracey, as did everyone who knew her. Tracey was beautiful and smart. My heart was broken when Jennifer told me yesterday of her passing.

Tracey made me a better person. Whenever i was down she could always pick me up with her infectious smile. She lit up the room with her presence. I don't consider her my sister in law but my actual sister. I loved her more than words can express and her legacy will continue. Until we meet again one sweet day Your loving brother as you affectionately referred to as Steven Dwayne! Heaven gained another angel!
