I have many memories of going to party´s with Tracey and also of swimming in her pool. Her energy was always so positive. I really enjoyed having her as my fried in high school. But the most memorable memory that I have was going to band camp with Tracey. I remember the time she came into my cabin and taught me how to twirl a drumstick. Like a baton. I was so impressed by her skills. I took that lesson and practiced. To this day, I still play drums and twirl my stick how Tracey showed me. I made a video about it and gave her credit. No one spins sticks like this. It´s very unique and I´ll never forget that day. That You Tracey!!! Love you!!!!!

Dear Al Syl Will and Jill, I remember your mom (wife_) playing with you all. She was really funny and cool about being a mom to young peeps. She talked about you guys a lot - what it was like to be a mom, her hopes for you. Tracey loved you so much Al! It was in her smile and the way the two of you looked at each other and laughed with each other. I think of Tracy often. In my work as a psychologist, I continue to be inspired by her upbeat and always learning and growing attitude. She was humble about all her accomplishments, and willing to share her happiness and humor and compassion with everyone. I remember talking about hypnotherapy and trauma work, her encouraging me in being an officer, her helping me deal with morning sickness being pregnant in the army. I remember her selling Mary Kay and doing it with such style. Your mom/wife was one of the best people I knew and an excellent friend. I am so sorry she is not in this world now, but I also know she is - she is with you every day, and I believe that every time we think of her, she is absolutely there with us, but now with perfect love and understanding. I feel she would tell you - Stay strong and happy! Know you are loved! Know you are worth while and have a right to be here - just because! And from us Gabelbergers - if you are ever up near West Chester PA we would love to see you! Much love, Maria (Maya) Gabelberger

Dear Al, Syl, Will and Jill,
I remember with such gratitude serving with Tracey and you Al at Ft. Hood and getting to know and love you both. Tracey made the work at the Dept of MH at Darnall so fun - she was always curious, always smiling, always kind and made me laugh and see the humour everywhere. I have a funny memory of her buying an outragously expensive dress and the conversation about keeping it or bringing it back. Al, you and Tracey helped us bring our twins into the world and we couldn't be more saddened to hear of your (and the world's) loss. We love Tracey and send you our love and condolences.

Hello Al, This is Karen Ward, your's and Tracey's Army Nurse friend from 121, Korea. We all enjoyed Hash House Harrier's events together, and Tracey and I supported each other through Phase 1&2 of CGSC that year, 1999-2000. Tracey was so smart, she gave up the classes and finished Phase 3&4 on her own and I finished mine in classes with the Reserves in Pittsburgh, when I was working on my MSN at Duquesne I loved Tracey, she was so sweet, so much fun, and I remember you two were so loving together, the perfect sweethearts. You may remember that I gave Tracey monthly shots at CGSC classes.I was honored she chose me to be her nurse. I was shocked and very sad to hear of Tracey's death to the big C! I am so sorry she had to leave us so quick and way too soon. I visited her FB page yesterday and saw the beautiful pictures of you two and your beautiful children. I know she was the best wife, mother, daughter, friend, and such a consumate professional Army Nurse & psych nurse specialist. God bless Tracey, you, your beautiful children and other family members and friends during this time. I love you all, Karen Ward, LTC, AN (R). (210) 218-4029. Text or call anytime you need someone to talk with. Love you all forever. Karen

Al, I am saddened by the loss of your wife.
We weren't acquaintances or Facebook friends.
Yet, since our Belvoir days, I have known that she was the light in your life. I have always spoken of her and your marriage to her in the highest regard. I am glad to know that her light will continue to brighten your life in your beautiful children.

To my dear friend and best neighbor ever - you are gone way too soon. Your friendship and love meant the world to me. You loved my daughter as your own, and for that I am eternally grateful. We were blessed to know you and love you.
To your family - Nothing I can say will make any of this better. I am so very sorry. Praying for peace as you all go forward.

My prayers and thoughts are with Tracey's family during this sad and difficult time. Tracey was a strong woman of Faith. She liked the scripture reading that I had posted a few months ago on a mutual friends Facebook timeline...
To every thing
There is a season,
And a time to every purpose
Under the heaven;
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2,4
