Traci Ann Summers Weaver was born June 17, 1960, to her late parents, James Keith Summers and Helen Pledger Summers. Traci passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at age 62 on February 13, 2023.
Traci married Rufus “Henry” Weaver, Jr. in May of 2008, whom she met in 1991 and was with for 30 years. She is survived by her husband Henry, her children, Cherish Helen Summers Vinson married to Kevin Vinson, Keith Omax Lewis married to Christina Lewis, Shelby Christine Lewis, Rufus Henry Weaver III married to Charity Weaver, Leslie Robert Weaver married to Stacy Weaver, her 21 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Diann Johns, Rebecca Wilde and LouAnn Wright as well as her many nieces and nephews. Her death follows that of her parents, her son Mathew Joseph Weaver and her brothers, Morris Dean Summers and John Summers.
Traci had an incredibly large and generous heart that she shared with many. She had a large family and many friends who were always considered family. She threw many parties that consisted of shuffleboard and karaoke. She was the life of the party and simply enjoyed being surrounded by her loved ones. Traci loved going on cruises and playing blackjack, as well as camping with her children and grandchildren where she told scary ghost stories around the campfire. She was adamant that she had found her “NoteBook” with her husband Henry and loved when he sang to her. Halloween was her favorite because she loved scary things and always has some form of skull jewelry on. Traci is loved and adored by many, she will live through the hearts of her family and friends and will be missed dearly.
Her funeral will take place at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 where her life will be celebrated and her death mourned. Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 pm Friday, February 17, 2023 at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel.
