Tracy FERNER Obituary
April 10, 1966 - January 29, 2013
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tracy Ferner (Deitner) on January 29, 2013. Tracy was born to Leonard and Adeline Deitner April 10, 1966 at Davidson, Saskatchewan. In Tracy's full but short forty-six years she touched many people with her sparkle and her loving ways. Tracy lived the last 11 years of her life in Calgary, Alberta with her husband Clint and made many new friends and colleagues. Each day was a blessing filled with great moments and adventures. Tracy is survived by her husband Clint Ferner, brothers Brian and Bruce Deitner, sisters-in-law Christine Deitner and Celeste Ferner, mother Adeline Deitner, mother-in-law Fay Krock and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tracy was predeceased by her father Leonard Deitner and her brother Wayne Deitner. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Alberta/NWT Division (200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2P5. Telephone 403-205-3966, www.cancer.ca), would be greatly appreciated. Prayers and Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eden Brook Funeral Home (corner of 17 Avenue S.W. and Lower Springbank Road). A Celebration of Tracy's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Eden Brook Funeral Home. my late sympathy goes out to you Clint and Tracy family. I miss her. all the memories I think of Tracy are filled with laughs and fun times.
Today in my work as a nurse I was sent to an apartment in saskatoon to see a client. When i looked up the location , I thought I knew where it was somewhat, had not been to that area in over 10 years. Well wouldn't you know it. It was the very apartment Tracy rented when in saskatoon. My mind was suddenly filled with many great memories of Tracy and the fun we had.

Tracy and I dated for about a year back in late 1980's and my deepest sympathy goes out to all her family. I'll always remember her great sense of humor and her smile. Even though I hadn't seen her for years, she would still bring a smile to my face when I thought of her.

Our deepest sympathy to Adeline and family, such long time friends of our family and when Tracy was born I still remember how it was dad's birthday in April was when she was born. It was not a surprise years later that Tracy's husband wanted to introduce himself to me at an event I was speaking at, it was great to see Tracy married so well and I got to meet someone so special in Tracy s life as Tracy and her family were in our life. I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an imprint in our memories. Tracy was my childhood friend; my 1st friend - I believe we first met when I was 3. She helped me become the person I am through her wit, smile, encouragement and friendship.
