Tracy Hurd

Webster, NH - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tracy Lei-Ann Hurd, a lifelong resident of Warner and Webster, NH. Tracy passed away on April 4, 2023 after a long illness. She was 58 years old and filled those years with wonder, travel and compassion for her work, her family, and all her four-legged friends that she so lovingly cared for at her homestead. Feeding her deer and her birds were of great joy to her and to others. Tracy loved all of nature and filled her spare time with walking, hiking and kayaking. She even braved a sky-diving adventure.

Tracy graduated from Kearsarge Regional High School in 1983 and received her nursing degree from NH Technical Institute in 1991. She dedicated her life, as a traveling nurse, working in emergency rooms all over the country, even in wilderness situations.

She was loved by her patients and co-workers alike.

Tracy was born in Concord, NH on February 23, 1965. She was predeceased by her parents, Nancy (Allen) Hurd and Richard D. Hurd both of Warner, NH. She is survived by a sister, Tamara Saxby of Laconia, NH and a brother, Richard Hurd (Dionne Hurd and Mya Penrice) of Webster, NH, a niece, Tara Nicole Avery-Beckingham of Windsor Locks, CT and a nephew, Matthew Saxby of Bradford, NH as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tracy attended CenterPoint Church in Concord and loved her congregation.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cloverdale Feed and Farm Supply, Tracy Hurd Animal Care Fund, 299 Battle Street Route 127, Webster, NH 03303.

A celebration of life in her honor will be held on May 13, 2023 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. at 4 Battle Street, Webster, NH 03303.

I don't know what to say, I'm in shock to read that the happy, smart, funny, wild, silly, amazing girl I shared so much of life with is gone.
I'm sorry we drifted apart, changing our professions from State employee co-workers to you off enjoying the terrific life of a traveling nurse; me going back to college + moving up to the lakes region.
We had some great times hanging out in Tooky all those years. I'm truly sorry you are gone.

I remember tracy well from school. She had a infectious laugh and kind heart. My heart goes out to her family and close friends. Along with her fur babies.
