Eugene Blackmon Obituary
Celebration of life: noon Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, FM 1861, Martins Mill. Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Martins Mill. Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greater Antioch Baptist Church, 5420 Cottey St., Fort Worth.
Mr. Blackmon was born Sept. 19, 1941, in Tyler.
Survivors: Companion, Mary Anderson; daughters, Sharon Burks Bates (William), Tanya Taylor (Elder Samuel Taylor) and Eugenia Lenear (Trevoy); mother, Georgia Mae Watson; brother, Kenneth Houston (Shelia); sisters, Martha Earl (Clarence), Mary Jefferson (Eddie) and Mollie Royal; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
