Words can not express my sympathy to all the family and friends of Travis.

I met him only once, at his place of business, though I can appreciate the annotations made by others here. He was friendly, helpful, witty and kind.

You are in our prayers and our thoughts.

Our hearts go out to all of Travis's friends and family. Travis was nicest, most wackiest person we've ever known. Always making people laugh, and always making us laugh. The first time we met Travis, we knew he was going to be a friend for life.

We love you and we miss you Travis. May you rest in peace.

Jackson, Desiree, Donna, Brian, Joanne, Paul, Dustin and Mat,

As I sit here crying into my keyboard, reading the beautiful things Travis' friends and family have written about him, I have to admit that am still having trouble coming to grips with his sudden passing and the unbelievable grief it has dealt to his family. My heart breaks for all of you. Aside from the hockey teams I played on with Trav and the fun ski trips our families went on through the years, Kelly Hanscom, Travis and myself spent a lot of time together as kids messing around at horse shows, and getting into the kind of trouble kids do when they have a little too much free time on their hands. And, knowing Trav, you must also know that those times would not be nearly as memorable had Trav not been involved.

As Travis grew into an adult, he developed into, by all accounts, a very fun and extremely funny guy, and a terrifically caring son, brother, husband, father and friend. I really can't believe he's gone. I'm trying to take solace in the fact that because Trav had such a great big personality, he had a real impact on the lives of those surrounding him and as a result, we all have wonderful memories of him to help us through this difficult time. Travis and his infectious fun loving personality have rubbed off all that he touched in his life, especially those close to him, and although painful at first, the fact that we will all be reminded of him, particularly through his brothers father and son, in the end, it is truly a gift that Travis lives on in those most dear to him and we get to see that for years to come.

With the birth of our sons this year, and having grown up with Travis, I know that both he and I were excited about the fact that our kids were also going to grow up knowing each other. I know that Jackson has a large group of loving relatives that will be there for him whenever he needs them, but I want Jackson and the Grossman family to know that I too will be keeping an eye on little Jackson as he grows up, the same way that I know Travis would look out for my boy had the situation been reversed.

Travis, you will be missed.

I grew up with Travis, his was the brother I never had & I was his sister he never had. Travis was an amazing person who always put a smile on everyones face for the fun - hearted guy he was. He always the made the best of every situation & always wanted to live life to the fullest. I will miss Travis so dearly becuase he was my best friend growing up & we always said that if we both did not find anyone when we turned 30 we would get married! Travis found an amazing wife & had a beautiful son that will always carry on the memory of Travis. We all know that his strong personality will shine through every day.

Wish I could be there for that special day - wishing everyone my deepest sympathy and love. I will be there soon to give everyone a big hug.

It breaks my heart & I feel for you!

I last saw Travis at Terry and Jody's wedding. The young boy that often called me "Momsey" had grown into a fine young man with an aspiring career and was soon to begin his family with his bride Desiree. We chatted about "old" times and shared many memories. His love for life and his sense of humor ressurected many fond memories that he brought to the Beitel family. Our family was richly blessed by the gift of Travis and Terry's friendship. He was like a brother to Terry and Tony and another son to Terry Sr. and myself. On behalf of Terry, Jody, Tony, Krista and myself I would like to extend our deepest sympathies and most sincere prayers to his wife Desiree, his son Jackson, his loving mother Donna, his father Bryan, his brothers Paul, Dustin and Matt. Travis' life was "cut" short but he climbed mountains and encouraged others to follow to the summit at any cost. Now as our angel in heaven he will beckon us to go even farther. He will remain in every heart whose life he touched because of who he was. May God be your strength during this time as you grieve the lost a beloved one.

We are in utmost shock to hear of the passing of your dear son Travis. Our memeories of him when he was a small child are still etched in our minds. He was such a sweet child and we never got the chance to meet him when he was an adult, so it is our loss also. Donna, Paul, Dustin and Matthew, our deepest condolences are with you all at this time. Please convey our sympathy also to his wife and the rest of your family. Your broken heart is also our broken heart at this time. God Bless you and keep you at this very sad time. It's been a long time since Travis and I played our fun games, but they sure were fun. In Junior Highschool for a time we were inseperable. Always a free spirit, he had the best, biggest, most exceptional sense of humor of any kid I knew. I'm gonna miss him. A lot of memories come back: listening to crazy music, ripping around the neighborhood, skipping out on band class, causing our own form of boyhood mayhem, and bonding and growing up together. Travis shared formative years with me. I am very sorry for this loss. My thoughts and feelings are with you at this very sorrowful time. My Sincerest condolences.

It has been a couple years since I last saw Travis. We became friends through Chili´s and had many great times together. I remember him teaching me how to drive a standard in his silver truck and how much we used to laugh. He will be forever missed in my heart. My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to all his family and friends. He was a wonderful person.

There are no words that I can think to describe Travis. Travis was simply Travis. He had the unique ability to make everyone around him laugh. I think about the times I spent with Travis and only remember smiling and laughing.

He was a great son, brother, husband, father and to me a great friend and person. His legacy of friendship and laughter will live in my memories forever.

Words are completely inadequate to express the heartbreak we feel for your family. I remember Travis to be a man that appreciated the finer things in life. He would rather have a little bit of something fabulous, than a lot of something mediocre. Sadly, it seems his life was the same. He lived each day to the fullest, but just didn't have enough days.

Desiree, our love and prayers are with you, and Jackson. If there is ever any way we can help and support you please just reach out to us. We will always be here for you.
