TRENA MCCLOUD

MCCLOUD, MRS. TRENA - Age 46, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at her residence. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Derrick Aldridge officiating. Interment Lovedale Memorial Cemetery, 5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. There will be no public viewing. Mrs. Trena McCloud was born on October 27, 1968 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of C.W. and Bernice McDaniel. Mrs. McCloud attended Southwestern High School, "Class of 1986." In 1987, she attended Mr. Davis School of Cosmetology. She received her certificate from Ross Medical Center in 1992, and became a Certified Medical Assistant and went on to become a Medical Administrator for Riverfront Complex for the duration of her career. In 2000, Trena met and married Jackie McCloud. Trena enjoyed being a mother, not only to her children but to anyone who needed one. Trena was extremely family oriented. She loved shopping, was an avid reader and enjoyed putting together events for the entire family. Trena McCloud leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Jackie McCloud of Flint; daughter, Marie Evans; 2 sons, Mark and Malcolm Evans; 3 step-daughters, Tasha, Takesha and Tamesha McCloud and their children; 2 grandchildren, Daslynn Harrington and Amiyah Evans; 4 brothers, Charles E. Williams, Raymond, Kevin (Felica) and Craig (Jacqueline) McDaniel; very close sister and best friend, Nicole (Shane) Reed; niece, Mycole Kaylee McDaniel; nephews, Darius Ray McDaniel, Kelvin (Tiffany), Craig Elliot McDaniel, Deshane Reed, Delevon, Shaune Edward Reed, Daman Ray McDaniel and Ray Shawn McDaniel, all of Flint; a host of other relatives and close friends including two close friends since childhood, Lisa Haynes and Kimberly McConnor. Mrs. Trena McCloud was preceded in death by: daughter, Etoyia Elizabeth Evans; parents, C.W. and Bernice McDaniel; and 2 brothers, Alvin Lee and Leonard Ray McDaniel. Trena's sons Mark and Malcolm would like to express special thanks to her husband, Jackie D. McCloud as well as his family. The family would also like to express special thanks to Mark Edward Evans, Allana Aldridge, Pastor Derrick Aldridge and Jackie McDaniel for their contributions, as well as Joan McCloud, Mr. A. Perkins, Second Chance and The Holy Ghost Ministry Church families and many others who reached out in this time of bereavement.
