It has been 12 years and it amazes me that Trevor pops in my mind unexpectedly around this time every year. Wonderful memories!

I woke up today thinking of wonderful memories that Trevor and I shared, and wondering why he was on my mind so much today, then it clicked today was the day! It was one of the Sade's days of my life but I am happy to have so many memories of him that make me smile. Trevor will always be a part of me, miss him so much!

Our son was a recipient of the Trevor Korol scholarship and I believe he met Trevors parents this evening. I spent some time reading about Trevor tonight. You lost a wonderful son. I am so sorry. Reading through these condolences is testament that he was well loved. You must miss him so very much. Thank you for keeping his memory alive through such a generous donation to other students in construction education. Your son sounded like a kind, compassionate soul who cared deeply about family and friends. I hope you have been able to find the peace needed to help you carry-on through these years without your beloved son.

I knew Trevor fairly well and enjoyed working with him. He was very good at his job and took pride in his work which showed the kind of character he had. He was someone you could always count on. My sympathies go out to his family.

Dear Korol family,
My deepest sympathies go out to you and your families. I've known Trevor from elementary to high school. Upon hearing the sad news, I immediately thought of how much Trevor spoke of his brother and with his words, I know he loved and cared for his brother deeply. Trevor will be missed and loved forever.

Trevor was involved in my family for almost 4 years, he taught both of my little brothers how to ride their bikes. I remember he took my out to buy my very first baseball glove when I was nine, oiled it up and showed me how to throw, he also taught my Mom how she should be treated. Although he has been out of our lives for a while, we still remember exactly what he was like.
He had a big smile, and a beautiful heart.
May God bless your family, and may he help keep you strong through this tough time.

Dear Korol Family,
I received a disheartening phone call from my mother this morning revealing the news of Trevor's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. It seems so unfair that his life was stolen at such a young age. I remember him as a proactive man who took life by the horns and lived it to the fullest. He had a very poetic soul and and an adventurous heart, and we could all learn a lesson from him. Trevor, thank you for teaching me to play pool like a pro, for fixing my parents wall after Joe fell into it while they were out of town, for that awesome trip to the mountains, for attempting to teach me to drive a standard, for helping my dad fix up the basement, for great fun in the red truck and playing CB radio tag with Chris, Shawna, Brad, Rob, Aaron, Matt, Cordd, and all of our other friends...and for actually wearing a suit to grad. You will be missed.

Condolences to the Korol Family in this sad time. I was surprised and saddened to hear of Trevors' tragic passing. I knew Trevor about 9 or 10 years ago in his earlier construction days. He worked for the same Construction Company as I did , helping out on site to keep things running smoothly. I lost touch with him over the years, but will never forget his endless enthusiam, sense of humor, and willingness to get things done.He was a good soul, taken far to early. Rest in peace Trevor.

I remember Trevor as an energetic little boy and then was re-introduced to him through my son (John Trapp) as an energetic adult. It was truly a shock to hear of his tragic passing but I know that his spirit will live on through his family and close friends.

It's always difficult to understand the will of God, Trevor's departure from us is not the end for him, only a new beginning. He was here to inspire, that he did, he was here to teach, that he also did, very well. I could never keep up with Trevor, he was a whirlwind of energy and someone to look up to everyday. In the short time that I knew him, he was both an inspiration and a teacher to me and will be deeply missed. My deepest sympathies to everyone he touched. God Bless

I grew up with Trevor, and he was one of my very first friends. Throughout life and growing up I had so many great times and experiences with Trevor. I even let him crack the whip on me as his employee for a couple of summers during college. I wouldn't trade those times for anything.
My deepest sympathies, he will not be forgotten.

Trevor and I were very close he was always there to pick me up and give me grief when I thought my life was going out of control and there was no way out. He was my best friend - my go to guy. I have known Trevor through hockey for 6 years and had many great times with him in these events.
The best memory I have is when the World Master Games came to Edmonton and I was able to join a team from Scotland. Trevor came out and played in a practice game with us. He so wanted to play but he was under age for the games. So he said he was going to coach and everyone said sure. So picture this: the first game Trevor shows up wearing a Hockey Jersey, Cowboy Hat, Cowboy Boots and a KILT! This was the highlight of my life!
Trevor, the Steelers and myself are sure going to miss that leadership that you led us with.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
